Looking to take the aPHR?

The aPHR is a knowledge-based exam and many of our test-taking strategies are highly relevant! However, since the aPHR includes no application or situational questions, we generally don’t recommend that you register for our full 3-hour workshop. Instead:

  • Join us for our 7-week comprehensive aPHR prep course where we dedicate one full class to test-taking strategies and practice tests! OR
  • Consider a 1×1 tutoring session if you are self-studying or enrolled in another provider’s prep course

This intensive workshop will quickly prepare you to master the critical study tips and systematic test-taking strategies more than 2,000 HR professionals have used to pass their HR certification exams and is applicable to any HRCI or SHRM test: PHR, PHRi, PHRca, SPHR, SPHRi, GPHR, aPHR, aPHRi, SHRM-CP or SHRM-CP.

Looking for test-taking strategies AND a full review of key exam topics? Take Charge. Tackle That Test! and our HRPowerPass methodology are embedded into every one of our comprehensive prep courses.

Get the most from you workshop experience: Before attending, study at least Unit/Module 1 and take at least 100 practice test questions on your own.

At the conclusion of this test-taking workshop, you will have the tools to:

  1. Apply HR Cert Prep Pros’ exclusive HRPowerPass methodology to answer successive practice test questions correctly, more quickly, and with more confidence.
  2. Systematically and objectively work through multiple types of test questions, including knowledge, factual, application, and situational.
  3. Consistently apply study tips that will improve your focus and effectiveness.
  4. Apply techniques to overcome potential psychological distress, including test anxiety.
