PREP COURSE TRANSFER POLICY
Transfers are considered on a case-by-case basis for students registered for or attending a Comprehensive Live/Virtual or Self-Study Course.
Keep in mind that transferring to a course that begins in a subsequent calendar year may result in your prep materials being misaligned with HRCI or SHRM’s body of knowledge and/or exam content outline, HRCPP’s instructor slides, and other course materials. This misalignment is typically manageable, and there may be an option to upgrade to the newer materials for a fee charged by the third-party prep materials provider.
Should you experience a need or desire to transfer to another course, please reach out to your instructor or the CEO to discuss your options. Following, or in lieu of, the discussion, submit your formal request in writing to Info@HRCertPrepPros.com and include:
- Reason for the request, along with supporting documentation, if applicable; and
- Time frame requested for re-enrollment in a comparable course within 12 months of the request date.
IMPORTANT: If your registration is partially or wholly paid by a government grant, your career advisor must confirm their agreement to your transfer via email before being approved by HRCPP.
One approved transfer per student per course is complimentary, so long as the transfer request is made within a reasonable time period of the start of class. Requests made late in a course may incur the transfer fees below.
Additional transfer requests incur the following fees, which cover administrative costs and updated HRCPP materials, but not updated HRCP, HRCI, or other third-party provider materials:
- aPHR = $395
- GPHR = $495
- PHR / SPHR = $595
- SHRM-CP/SCP = $595
HRCPP reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and fees associated with transfers and re-enrollment requests at any time for any reason. Decisions are made by HRCPP’s CEO and are final.
GRIEVANCE POLICY
HRCPP is committed to addressing grievances promptly and fairly.
Grievance Procedure
- Should you have an issue or complaint, we encourage you to attempt to resolve the issue directly with your instructor or course administrator, if applicable.
- If the issue remains unresolved, submit a formal written grievance to HRCPP’s CEO at Debi@HRCertPrepPros.com. Include a clear description of the issue, relevant supporting documentation, and desired resolution.
- The CEO will review your grievance; may request additional information from both parties involved; and will strive to reach a fair and impartial decision within a reasonable timeframe. This decision will be final and binding.
HRCPP respects the privacy of individuals involved in grievance proceedings and maintains confidentiality to the extent practicable.
REFUND POLICY
Eligibility for Refund
Refunds will be considered under the following circumstances:
- Course cancellation by HRCPP.
- Course postponement by HRCPP of more than thirty (30) days.
- Sustained inability to access course content due to HRCPP technical issues.
- Justifiable dissatisfaction with the course content, within the specified refund period.
- Disability, death, or other serious circumstance that precludes you from preparing for and taking the HR certification course and exam for which you registered and/or pursuing or continuing a career in Human Resources or a related field.
Refund Period & Procedure
- The Refund Period for each course is within fifteen (15) calendar days of the course start date. Refund requests made after the Refund Period will not be honored, except under exceptional circumstances, as determined by HRCPP’s CEO.
- Submit your refund request to Info@HRCertPrepPros.com within the Refund Period.
- Refunds are made by check mailed to the original payor unless otherwise agreed by HRCPP.
Refund Determination
Unless otherwise agreed by HRCPP, the amount refunded will be the course registration fee LESS:
- The retail price of third-party prep materials that have been ordered by HRCPP on your behalf; for example, HRCP, HRCI and/or PocketPrep. The retail price is determined by the purchase price for the materials on the third-party provider’s website on the date the refund is issued;
- If applicable, the retail price for an HRCI exam voucher that was [1] paid as part of your registration fee and [2] ordered by HRCPP on your behalf. The retail price is determined by the regular purchase price for the exam voucher on HRCI.org; and
- A $250 administrative fee.
If a Refund is denied, you may continue in the course for which you registered or transfer to another comparable course in accordance with the Transfer Policy above.
HRCPP reserves the right to modify or update any or all of these Transfer, Grievance & Refund Policies at any time for any reason.
By enrolling in our courses, you agree to abide by the terms outlined in these Policies.
